What onboarding looks like

Before students take their first diagnostic, SubjectPath needs to know who your teachers and students are and which classes they belong to. Onboarding is how that happens.

We connect your platforms

During onboarding, we connect SubjectPath to your rostering and learning platforms to sync teachers, students, classes and rosters. See the platforms we connect during onboarding on Integrations.

Everyone gets the right kind of account

Your district’s accounts come in four kinds: students, teachers, school administrators and district administrators. What each person can reach depends on their role. Our Security page explains how access works.

Your data agreement comes first

We sign district data privacy agreements, including state templates. Tell us early which agreement your district uses, and we’ll work through it as part of onboarding. We never sell student data or use it for advertising.

Then students start

Once your rosters are in place, students take the diagnostic and practice starts from each student’s break point. Ask us about piloting SubjectPath with your students.

What to have ready

A few details make onboarding go more smoothly:

  • Your platforms. Which rostering and learning platforms your district uses, and who manages them. If you use more than one, tell us which one holds your rosters.
  • Who’s taking part. The schools, grades and classes that will use SubjectPath first.
  • Your data agreement. Your district’s data privacy agreement or state template, if you have one.

Who we’ll work with

Onboarding involves the people who manage your district’s platforms and data agreements. Tell us who they are when you get in touch.
