Cookie Policy

Last updated: October 29, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how SubjectPath ("SubjectPath," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar tracking technologies when you visit subjectpath.com, the website for SubjectPath's standards-aligned diagnostic Paths for K–12 (the "Service"). The SubjectPath app's own cookies are described in that app. This policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile phone) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently, provide a better user experience, and supply information to website owners.

Cookies can be "session" cookies, which are deleted when you close your browser, or "persistent" cookies, which remain on your device until they expire or you delete them. Cookies can be set by the website you are visiting ("first-party cookies") or by third parties whose services the website uses ("third-party cookies").

In addition to cookies, we may use similar technologies such as web beacons, pixel tags, and local storage to collect information and improve the Service.

2. Cookies We Use

SubjectPath uses the following categories of cookies:

Strictly Necessary

Required — Cannot be disabled

Cloudflare Turnstile may set cookies on pages with forms, to protect those forms from bots. The forms on this website need them to work.

Your cookie-consent choice and your theme preference are stored in your browser's local storage, not in cookies.

Analytics

Optional — Set only after you consent

If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use this website. These cookies are not set until you consent. If you withdraw consent, they are removed.

_gaDistinguishes unique visitors for analyticsUp to 2 years
_ga_<container-id>Maintains session state for GA4Up to 2 years

Important: SubjectPath does not use advertising cookies or behavioral tracking cookies. We do not serve ads and do not track users across third-party websites.

3. Third-Party Cookies

The third-party cookies on the Service are set by Cloudflare Turnstile, for bot protection on pages with forms, and, only with your consent, by Google Analytics 4 (GA4). Google's use of cookies is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

This marketing website holds no student data, so it does not send student data to Google Analytics.

This website also uses Vercel Web Analytics to measure aggregate page views and visitor traffic. Vercel Web Analytics does not set cookies or store identifiers on your device; visitors are counted using an anonymized hash that is not retained. Because it uses no cookies, it is not one of the cookie categories you can choose in Cookie Settings, and it runs regardless of your cookie choices. For more information, see the Vercel Privacy Policy.

4. How to Manage Cookies

You have several options for managing cookies. On this website, you can accept or withdraw analytics consent at any time from the Cookie Settings link in the footer.

4.1 Browser Settings

Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can typically:

  • View what cookies are stored on your device
  • Delete individual or all cookies
  • Block all or certain types of cookies
  • Set your browser to notify you when a cookie is being set

For specific instructions, consult your browser's help documentation:

4.2 Google Analytics Opt-Out

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

4.3 Impact of Disabling Cookies

Blocking Cloudflare Turnstile cookies may stop the forms on this website from working. Disabling analytics cookies will not affect your ability to use the Service but may limit our ability to improve it.

5. "Do Not Track" Signals

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) feature that sends a signal to websites indicating that you do not wish to be tracked. There is currently no universally accepted standard for how websites should respond to DNT signals. SubjectPath does not currently respond to DNT signals but does not engage in cross-site tracking of individual users.

6. Changes to This Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our use of cookies or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
